Inspiration: Pretty Little Liars

I probably watch far more TV [and movies] for my own good. I like to watch TV while I sew, and I sew a lot.

My latest obsession is Pretty Little Liars [on ABC Family]. I am probably far too old to love this show, but I can't help it I am hooked. It is sort of a cross between Dawson's Creek and Gossip Girl with a dash of mystery.

Pretty Little Liars follows a group of teenage girls that live in a small town in Pennsylvania. The four main characters- Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily are all trying to cope with the murder of their friend Alison.

A year after her disappearance, the girls start to receive messages from "A", and the messenger knows secrets that only Alison would. The girls are trying to figure out who is sending these messages- and how they know all of their secrets.

One of the best things about the show is the fashion. I love it! The main character Aria [Lucy Hale] has the best style. Bohemian chic with an edge. I love the unexpected pieces she pairs together, and the layering is divine. Her signature look is a lovely floral print dress with a leather jacket- fabulous!

I also adore Hanna's feminine look and she always has an amazing bag [and I love a great bag].

The show really inspires me to mix up my style a bit. Wear more layers, bohemian prints, jewelery, and accessories. I just love it! What has inspired your look lately?

  3. I agree with watching tv shows. Although I started watching old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer while making things.
