Seems that all I have been doing lately is sewing, sewing, sewing. Making new stuff, remaking old stuff, and working on some custom orders as well. All of my pouches have a signature milk & honey bee free hand embroidered on the back. They are like snowflakes - each one unique ;)
This weekend I will be working on photos [a constant battle]. Photos are the single most important thing for any online business owner and there is always room for improvement. Now that I have a better understanding of using natural light, white balance, and my camera's ev settings; I am really focusing on composition. I am excited to see how they will turn out!

ReplyDeleteI just take photos only on really sunny days, by my kitchen window...that's my only tip.
Oh, I adore your bees...they are the "bees-knees" (ha, sorry for the corniness :)). Can't believe that you do those free-hand...you have some talent lady!!!!

ReplyDeletemy biggest advice: don't choose an outdoor backdrop for your theme, when you live in the rainiest damn state in the nation. :/ it has severely hindered my shop. d'oh!
Oi photos, I feel like every time I think I have it down I learn all sorts of new things to improve them. Your photos look pretty great though--love those bees!

ReplyDeleteI find it so difficult to take good photos! White balance is very challenging for me - have to learn how to use my camera settings.
But your photos are so great! And I love the color of the wood you use as a background.
Photos are something that I still have to work on, but your photos look great! I know that the main tip is to have a great camera, it helps greatly
